The Children’s Corridor, a 14-mile long stretch from Near Northeast Denver to Green Valley Ranch, includes 13 Denver neighborhoods and one Aurora neighborhood. It covers roughly 41 square miles, or an area about the size of Lakewood. The Corridor is home to 54,000 children, with a high concentration of vulnerable children in Near Northeast Denver, Montbello,  East Colfax and Original Aurora.

All of these neighborhoods represent very diverse populations within many of the communities and across the geographic area. But the unifying factors are a need for improved educational and health outcomes for children and the growing momentum among residents and partner organizations to strengthen these communities and support families.

The Children’s Corridor is served by the City and County of Denver, the City of Aurora (Original Aurora), and Adams and Arapahoe counties, with students served primarily by Denver Public Schools and Aurora Public Schools in Original Aurora.
