Stapleton has quickly become an influential community within Denver. As a large urban ‘sustainable’ development, it has attracted many families eager to be near downtown. The energy can be seen and felt through a comprehensive list of open space and recreational opportunities, as well as community projects, organizations, and initiatives, such as Stapleton 2040 and the Stapleton Foundation. Along with economic opportunity and residential growth, Stapleton has experienced a shortage of schools for the increasing number of school-aged children. DPS is working with the community to provide additional school options to meet this growing demand. Stapleton is a valuable resource, offering many amenities to the surrounding communities.
